OCE is an enzyme preparation intended for use in refining applications of recycled pulp. OCE is a powdered form of hemicellulase/cellulase enzyme operating between a broad range of pH(40-9.0) and temperature(25C-60C)with general optimums of pH 7.0-8.0 and 50C-60C. OCE is used in the range of 10-50 g/ton with a general optimum around 30 g/ton. Benefits 1. Reduces refining energy requirements.2. Enhances fiber strength and increases inter-fiber bonding through fibrillation while increasing drainage rates and avoiding fiber breaking.3.
