Xbp is an enzyme preparation intended for use in pulping applications. Xbp is a powdered form of hemicellulase/ cellulose/xylanase enzyme operating between a broad range of ph(40-9.0) and temperature(25c-60c)with general optimums of ph 7.0-8.0 and 50c-60c. Xbp is used in the range of 20-60 g/ton with a general optimum around 40 g/ton. Benefits 1. Lowers kappa number of pulp by enhancing lignin extraction.2. Improves yield by lowering wood chip consumption.3. Reduces chemical consumption during bleaching resulting in lower production cost.4.
