Tpe is an enzyme preparation intended for use in de-inking recycled pulp. Tpe is a powdered form of hemicellulase/cellulase enzyme operating between a broad range of ph(40-9.0) and temperature(25c-60c)with general optimums of ph 7.0-8.0 and 50c-60c. Tpe is used in the range of 10-50 g/ton with a general optimum around 24 g/ton. Benefits 1. Eliminates the bleaching chemicals in the first step when used in a two stage bleaching system and achieves similar brightness.2. Reduces cod from lower chemical usage in bleach stage.3. Aids in removal of stickies.4. Releases inks(impactand non-impact) from fiber surfaces.5. Increases pulp drainage rates by a selective hydrolysis of fine particles which leads to either reduced steam demand for paper drying or increased throughput on the paper machine.6. Enhances fiber and paper strength through fibrillation of the pulp fiber.
